Brigitte's driver Hermann picked us up in Katy at 6:30. The traffic on I-10 was always heavy on Friday. Herm had been her driver since junior high and he doubled as her body guard. Always obsequious with her, usually gruff and impertinent with me, and this evening was no exception. He scowled at me and B told him to behave.
