Personally, I like to see this stuff about character of a videogame\anime I'm fan of.
Plus, the fact I like them doesn't mean I don't like the real things. Otherwise I wouldn't be happy to make love with my girl. Or, of course, to watch some real porn too.
And I think this is the same for most of the anime\videogames fan. Both males and females.
