Not bi-enough...

What a pleasure to be at Bi-tastic yesterday, the annual gathering of bi folk in Scotland. There were some fascinating conversations around being bi enough, bisexuality and disability, asexuality and the spectrum of grey ace which I'd never heard of, Polyam and bi. I also decided to hold a session on the intersection of my three areas of "study" bisexuality, naturism and theatre. Exploring my theme of "How do we choose to reveal our bodies through life performance and art?". We talked about liminal space between people clothed and naked, body morphing through age or transitioning, the scanning and suppositions we make every moment about another person - clothed or naked. Fascinating.

Am I bi-enough, and I poly-enough - yes. i am what I am, and it is a pleasure to be in (clothed) company and be able to talk openly. One lovely bit of the discussion was the desire to be in a sauna, naked, and be able to have some real conversations with other people there rather than the silence which seems to be the norm. Anyone fancy a sauna visit and a real chat about sex, life, nudity, art, bodies and being - love to hear from you if you're in London or Edinburgh/Glasgow.
I look forward to next year's day long conference where I may try and call a clothing optional session - see what happens.
