Consenting Adults - the theatre of the sauna

I am exploring the world of porn/art and I am wondering:- When I look on line I am a voyeur. I have no idea whether the world i am viewing is consenting to what happens. I can guess that a solo man uploading a video is doing so knowingly. But I can't be sure. It is a cultural belief that the man is in control, whilst a woman on a solo screen may be there against their wishes. Neither do we know. When there is a camera recording some action I can never be sure that those on screen are wanting to be there. The script may offer one point of view, but I cannot know whether there is coercion there.

But when I go into a sauna with a group of men (or men and women) and watch people playing - is that porn or art. Each person there is there completely through choice, and each is putting on a show. Those who find it offensive/ uncomfortable will walk out of the sauna. Those who are passive are there because they want to be there. And those who are performing are either there for release or the show. Is anyone being hurt by this.

Well is anyone hurt, I suppose anyone who should know where the man (or woman) is, but is being kept in the dark. So the person in the sauna is hurting someone. But can we be responsible for that. I sense not.

So for me being in a sauna is a little like being in a theatre where there is a show, and everyone is consenting to the experience they have in that space.

I'd welcome thoughts on this.

I think the way people react is probably based on their culture or upbringing. I've always had a strong sexual desire but have HAD to learn to control it so as to fit into society. the sauna scenario is great for the exhibitionist and voyeur, if it wasn't for the liberated people I've met I think my life would have been very frustrating

What an interesting hypothesis. We are all made in so many different ways I agree. I myself have been aroused from what I suppose you would call 'both sides', being the exhibitionist, loving at times the thrill of someone watching me either pleasuring myself or pleasuring someone else. Also from the point of being a voyeur and watching someone solo enjoying the delights of their own body, or watching two (or maybe more) enjoying each others bodies.
I have been lucky enough to enjoy both sides quite a few times and I have to confess that the thrill and excitement in both cases have caused me to have such intense orgasms.
They say variety is the spice of life and this sort of variety really does give spice to my existence.

A friend of mines first husband used to get off watching her seduce other men in the pub. He chose them. He would get them home and she would have sex in full. She did it to keep him happy but she grew tired after a couple of years and the marriage failed. he wa, it seems unable to get sexual satisfaction from regular sex, but from giving his "possession" to others at his whim.
