FAITH (my poetry)

I can't stand back and watch the wheel of fortune spin.

I gotta risk everything to feel I'm born again.

To make peace with myself, my God, and country.

The United States can't afford another war again.

Check the score again. My faith is mightier

Then the sword and pen. I order in

And I take out all the pain, let the hate out.

Let it all fade out and come to an end.

I'm a giant amongst the men, A lion amongst the den

I was grounded, I'm flying once again.

Soaring over the clouds, Inches over the rainbows

Feeling closer to God I'm touched by his angels.

No more am I cynical. I've grown more spiritually

To me waking up every morning's a miracle.

To see the sun come up at least for another day.

How could you ask for more, imagine it the other way.

The future isn't there, its yours to make.

You can do nothing just sit back and wait.

Or you can put it in the hands of fate.

Those who feel blessed fold their hands in faith.

Every single day of your life is a test.

All that you can do is take it and try your best.

The rest? Falls into the hands of fate.
